Coral Lok - screw in coral like a bolt. The Coral Lok is an innovative device created to increase coral out-planting efficiency. Frag plugs with a threaded base simply twist into receivers creating a secure connection to habitat modules.
Each Coral Lok base has the capability to out-plant 10-20 corals at one time. Each artificial reef can be out planted with 500+ corals! Enabling out-planted coral to be placed easier, faster and safer than ever before!
Habitat modules can be used for natural reef restoration while artificial reefs can include receivers to outplant hundreds of coral!
We work with restoration practitioners to provide Coral Loks and bases to aid in outplanting coral. Custom options are available.

Embedded into a variety of modules the Coral Lok Receivers enable the Coral Lok frag plugs to be attached to habitat modules and artificial reefs with ease.
Coral Lok Frag Plug
Corals can grow on over 15 different Coral Lok frag plug designs. Each uniquely designed to accommodate different coral species and test coral settlement preference.
Safe Materials
Coral Lok fasteners are made from inert materials. Composed of calcium carbonate, silica, and limestone. Coral Loks will not corrode, oxidize or breakdown in the marine environment and will not harm corals or the reef.
